Datterode
This is the town in Germany where the Pfifferling family was from. In my mother's story she says that it is near Fulda. Her great-great-grandfather Sander, great-grandfather Joseph, and grandfather Sender Pfifferling were all born there. The woman in the center at the bottom of this picture is Opa Karl's cousin Hilda Frank, who lived in Evanston, Illinois. This picture was taken when she visited there in 1969.
